Adkeet ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

Account data: Email address, hashed password, profile information.
Generation data: Prompts, uploaded assets, generated outputs.
Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, generation history, credit transactions.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, cookies.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and operate the Service.
To process payments and manage subscriptions.
To generate AI content based on your prompts and uploads.
To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets).
To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
To prevent fraud, abuse, and enforce our Terms.
To send marketing communications (only with your explicit consent).

3. Data Processors

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the life of your account plus 30 days after deletion.
Generated content is retained until you delete it or your account is closed.
Payment records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
Server logs are retained for 90 days.

5. Your Rights

GDPR Rights (EU/EEA/UK residents)

Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Restrict: Request limited processing of your data.

CCPA Rights (California residents)

Right to Know: What personal information we collect and why.
Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information.
Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data).
Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@adkeet.ai or use the account deletion feature in your account settings. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Adkeet is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), row-level security on our database, secret scanning in our CI/CD pipeline, rate limiting, and CSRF protection. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect.
